This book was written as a result of a psychological therapy with a young boy that suffers from OCD- obsessive compulsive disorde

During his therapy we used externalization of the symptom by naming his OCD “clingy".

And together in therapy we created a story about clingy and his misdeeds and the ways the child in the story can control it.

After the therapy ended successfully, as the child’s symptoms subsided and his quality of life improved dramatically, we thought that the story we created with him in therapy is worth publishing, as is can help others overcome OCD

The purpose of this book is to give children that are coping with OCD the feeling that they are not alone.

A child who will read this story will relate to the story’s hero and get a sense   of relief from the understanding that there  are  other  children  struggling  with problems similar to theirs.

Also, the book presents OCD in way that is very clear and easy to understand and provides tools to deal with it.
